Vintage Works was founded in 2012 by Gert Verhoeven. Gert bought a Roland Juno 106 back in 2004 and ever since got hooked on vintage analog synthesizers. One synthesizer after another got added to his collection, which inspired him to make new music and to create new sounds. But also to recreate the distinctive sounds of the artists from the 70’s and 80‘s.
Through this 'addiction' Gert got into contact with a lot of musicians and he noticed that most of them were looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to buy analog synthesizers that are still in good (technical) shape. And he knew just the place.
Over the last few years Vintage Works quickly became a household name in the (vintage) synthesizer industry. From musicians to museums and from collectors to investors, they all find their way to Vintage Works for quality and reliability.

Yes, you can register an account and create a username and password. You can login anytime to check the status of your order.
When I buy a classic, can you guarantee that it will be in good condition?
Yes, all our items are checked prior to the sale and most of them are serviced. If so, the service report is included in the sale. When you purchase an item you'll always receive a testing video from us.
How do you pack items?
The classics are shipped in special made solid cardboard boxes. Prior to the shipping we send you photo's of the packing proces so you'll know which package will arrive at your address.
New synthesizers are always shipped with their original box in a bigger cardboard box. The original synthesizer box is optimally protected for the journey.
Which shipping method do you use?
All our items are shipped with DHL, fully insured and with tracking information.
I'd like to buy several items in the webshop. Can you ship them in the same package to me?
We do our best to pack items very carefully for the journey to your address. If there is enough space in the box we can combine shipping. Contact us prior to your purchase to discuss this. We can give you an exactly shipping quote than for the total of items you'd like to buy.
How fast do you ship my classic when I order it?
We ship your order within 2 working days.
I noticed that I cannot pay with Paypal or Creditcard. What is the reason for this?
There are multiple reasons. The fees for us as a seller are too high, the conversion rates are not fair and the release of amounts to our bank account take often longer than 3 working days. We only ship items when the money is released on our bank account.
Is it possible to pick up my bought item at your address in Rotterdam?
Yes, you're welcome to visit us. However, it is important to note that you cannot pay at our office. You can only pay in our webshop, not with cash. After the transaction you can indicate that you'd like to pick up the item instead of shipping.
I have a classic (in need of service) which I like to sell to you. Is that possible?
Yes, that is possible. Please send us an email with details and photo's and we will contact you as soon as possible to make an offer.

Yes, we have a good working brokering service as we have hundreds of customers around the world. Please contact us by email for details and we'll help you out.
I have a classic in need of service. Can I ship it to you for maintenance?
No, we only buy and sell equipment. However, we can provide addresses of qualified techs.
I am excited that you swap vintage synths, electronic piano's, drum machines, and effects machines for new products. How does this work exactly?
Many customers used this chance already and you can be the next one. We help you with this option to purchase a new synth for a lower price. If you have something vintage to swap, please send us an email and let us know which new synth(s) you'd like to buy. We send you a form where you can fill in the condition of the item(s) you'd like to swap. When you emailed us that form we'll send you an offer. If you accept that offer, we have a deal!
If you're not used to ship (large) items we can pick up the item(s) at your address around the world at your costs. Keep in mind that we have to receive the swapped item(s) first before we ship out the new item(s). Please read the terms and conditions for further details.
I saw that I don't have to pay for shipping when I buy a new synthesizer. Which shipping method do you use?
We ship all our items with DHL, fully insured and with tracking information. Keep in mind that we don't pay import taxes and local charges, if applicable. We only pay for the shipping costs.
If I bought a new synthesizer from Vintage Works and I sell it within the warranty period, does the new owner has still warranty on the synthesizer he bought from me?
No, the serial number on the invoice corresponds to the address of the first owner. If the owner changes, the warranty is no longer applicable for the product with that specific serial number. The warranty expires than.
